About Our Dedicated Local Community
With around 38 dedicated employees, many of whom are local, our team brings warmth, experience and continuity to the Nursing & Residential Care, Rehabilitation & Respite Care, Dementia Care, and End of Life & Palliative Care we provide. We value the loyalty and commitment of our staff, with team members having served here for numerous years. This dedication has helped us build a strong, family-like atmosphere, where residents, their families and staff form lasting connections.
With qualified nurses on duty 24 hours a day, and a local doctor available Monday to Friday, residents can feel reassured that medical care is always close at hand. We also welcome regular visits from a dentist, optician, chiropodist, and hairdresser, ensuring that health needs, personal comfort and wellbeing are met.

About Shannon Young, Our Registered Manager
Shannon began her career in care in 2018, working as a healthcare assistant whilst raising her young family. From the very beginning, she felt a true sense of belonging at The Manor and knew that this was where she wanted to grow and make a difference. Over the years, her passion for providing quality care only deepened. In December 2023, she was proud to become the home manager. Her journey has been driven by a genuine dedication to healthcare, ensuring every resident is treated with compassion, respect, and the highest standard of care.
