At The Manor, we want every resident to feel comfortable, safe and truly at home. We believe in flexibility and independence. There are no set times for getting up, going to bed or receiving visitors. Our approach is simple: if it suits you, it suits us.
Welcome to Your New Home
With a choice of single or shared rooms, each comes equipped with a TV and a telephone point, and many rooms have en-suite toilet facilities. Shared bathrooms, with specialised equipment, are also available, along with a shower room on the ground floor.
To make rooms feel more personal, residents are encouraged to bring along their own furniture or treasured belongings. Each room also has a lockable safe or cabinet for valuables.
All residents have access to the main telephone line at The Manor (01752 880510), and if a personal telephone connection is preferred, this can be arranged through BT at a small cost.
Additionally, there are welcoming communal areas, including the spacious front lounge and a warm conservatory at the rear, overlooking our patio garden.
Accessible Living, to Suit Your Needs
Accessibility is very important to us. At The Manor, we have lifts to all floors, with additional handrails fitted where necessary, and wheelchair access throughout. Emergency call points are available in every room and are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To support daily living, we provide a full laundry service and keep a supply of everyday essentials such as toiletries. A nurse call system is in place throughout the home, with added safety features such as pressure mats and chair sensors linked to the system where required, tailored to each resident’s care needs.
